A number of members conceived the idea for this group on a bus ride home from a wonderful day spent marching for women and socialising afterwards. Someone stated what fun it would be to attend a movie together every so often. This idea seemed so fantastic that the discussion went on to list all the other activities we could do – concerts, theatre, art exhibitions, poetry readings – there really is no limit.

We plan to start small and local with trips to cinemas and then see where the imagination and wishes of our members take us. Please stay tuned for details of our first movie visit.
